Peter Kazer guides you through his journeys in building nine layouts for exhibitions over 40 years, the first four in 4mm 1/76th scale OO9 and the later five in 1/4" to the foot 1/48th scale.

The next section concentrates on unfulfilled projects where Peter did at least some research on a prototype for a possible model and it includes plans - tempting for those who think they might need an extra project.

The last two sections are on tools techniques and the materials used. Much of Peter's models were scratchbuilt so this provides and invaluable insight to the modeller.
